Pure 49 third ship home in Baltic 500 race

Huge success for Matthias and Urs on our Pure 49 "Gorre", who crossed the finishing line of the 2026 Baltic 500 race as third ship home after a very harsh second half of the rade.

After last years second place, this again was a great proof for how fast an competetive a Pure Aluminium perfrmance cruiser can be in a fleet with many pure blood carbon racing yachts.

Congratulations to Matthias Müller von Blumencron and offshore queen Cole Brauer on their JV 43 for winning, but also greatest respect for all the smaller yachts struggeling hard with the sometimes brutal conditions.
