Silverrudder – Pure 49

View the private insights of Urs, our shareholder, on his first Silverrudder race on the Pure 49. This year's regatta was characterised by sunny, warm conditions, light winds, calm passages and foggy mornings. The Silverrudder Challenge of the Sea is an annual single-handed sailing regatta that starts and finishes in Svendborg, Denmark, and goes around the island of Funen. The shortest distance is 134 miles. The race is the largest single-handed offshore category 3 regatta in the world in terms of the number of participants.
