Pure Yachts dry dock in working mode now

Okay, admittedly we are a bit obsessed!

Amidst all the hustle and bustle of finalizing our first Pure 42, three of our staff members have been set on a very special task ... getting our factorys dry dock into working mode.

After the long awaited hydraulic steering had arrived, works could finally be completed and yesterday the first test operation could be carrried out.

Big day for Pure! Great work and huge thanks to Frank, Ole and Robin, who in fact did most of the wealding. Matthias, despite his many other jobs, also had a big part in the process.

Construction works included some stunning engeneering: For wealding on the actual platform, Matthias, Robs and Frank applied two massive pivots on either side, to rotate the monstrum by 90 degrees, so the underside oft he grit did not need tob e wealded overhead.

One day later our Pure 42 could move from its former building site in the upper factory hall into its cosy new dryberth. So no more stairs to climb fort he last weeks oft he fitout!
